Multiuser MIMO Downlink System Capacity Analysis In Wireless Communication for Time Varying Channel

چکیده
Very few technologies have shown as much impact on the trajectory of evolution of wireless communication systems as multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems. MIMO systems have already been employed in the existing 802.11n and 802.16e standards resulting in a huge leap in their achievable rates. A relatively recent idea of extending the benefits of MIMO systems to multi-user scenarios seems promising in the context of achieving high data rates keeping in the mind for future cellular standards after 3G. For applications such as wireless LANs and cellular telephony, MIMO systems will likely to be deployed in environments where a single base station must communicate with many users simultaneously. As a result, the study of multi-user MIMO systems has emerged recently as an important topic for research in future. Such systems have the potential to combine the high capacity that can be achieved with MIMO processing by using space-division multiple access techniques This paper aims at giving an insight into Multiuser MIMO downlink systems—its concept, capacity, and transmission techniques related issues. In this paper several approaches including linear and non-linear channel precoding are reviewed which analyze the capacity for multiuser MIMO downlink channel. We conclude by describing future areas of research in multi-user MIMO

The average channel capacity and the SINR distribution for multiuser Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems in combination with the base station based packet scheduler are analyzed in this paper. The packet scheduler is used to exploit the available multiuser diversity in all the three physical domains (i.e., space, time and frequency). The analysis model is based on the generalized 3GPP...

Support for a large number of users is required for the next generation wireless access systems and very high channel capacity must be achieved. The Multiuser-MIMO (MU-MIMO) technique has attracted much attention because of its high spectrum efficiency. However, in downlink MU-MIMO, channel state information (CSI) estimation error occurs in a time varying environment and the transmission qualit...
متن کاملMulti-User MIMO Downlink Channel Capacity for 4G Wireless Communication Systems
This paper investigates the performance of multiple-input multiple-out (MIMO) wireless communication systems in a multiuser environment. The user information is defined by a data matrix generated by the observed input-output data of the system, from which subspace identification method is developed using LQ-decomposition of the matrix. The LQ-decomposition is basically used to solve for the use...
متن کاملAnalysis of Multiuser MIMO Downlink Networks Using Linear Transmitter and Receivers
In contrast to dirty-paper coding (DPC) which is largely information theoretic, this paper proposes a linear codec that can spatially multiplex the multiuser signals to realize the rich capacity of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink broadcast (point-to-multipoint) channels when channel state information (CSI) is available at the transmitter. Assuming single-stream (or single-mode) c...
